Introducing Steven Boren,
Another heavy-hitter joins the Zeller Family. We’re so excited to welcome Steven Boren, an industry veteran who will be supporting customers in the selection & implementation of solutions to help them improve the reliability of manufacturing systems. He also acted as an account manager for selected customer accounts to provide them with the best customer experience possible.
Industry Experience
An engineering major with decades of experience, starting at a Rockwell Distributer & working within multiple ABB roles.
Steven started his career in 1993 within Electrical automation products, at a Rockwell Distributor in Central Illinois for 3 years. He then moved to Milwaukee WI after accepting a position at ABB. He would end up in various roles there, ranging from Software Engineer to Sales Management,
but spent most of his career within Application Engineering for Variable Speed Drives. Most recently, Steven was a Senior Regional Application Engineer for ABB providing technical-based VFD sales support to the field sales organization as they promoted ABB VFDs in St. Louis & Kanas City markets.

What are you looking forward to at Zeller? I am excited to be part of the Zeller Technologies team so that I may better support customers with solutions that help make their entire processes more efficient, instead of just being able to support the sale of a single component, the Variable Speed Drive. Furthermore, Zeller is a leading distributor that can provide both sales and service to our customers. Being a part of an organization that can provide customers with the best experience possible is important to me, and the way I always take care of my customers.
Tell us about your personal life? I enjoy spending time at the lake with friends and family whether it be boating, fishing, PWC riding, kayaking, or just floating in a cove. I also enjoy playing golf, hunting, and watching football. My wife and I enjoy being outside in the sun and taking vacations to the beach. We have two children and one grandchild who lives in the same town as us, Vandalia, IL.
